The environmental manager is responsible for the management of the environmental department, personnel, and budgets. He is also associated with performance appraisal and development systems, training and relevant duties of the environmental professionals. The environmental manager is also assigned to manage health & safety issues in the service providing hands-on approach as well as focusing on strategic issues. The environmental manager co-ordinates and drives improvements related to environmental inbound safety and quality. The environmental manager provides support to the Corporate Leadership Team in compliance with legal obligations. He has to work with all departments / functions in the development, implementation, monitoring, and review and promotion of the environmental issues. The environmental manager should be a management graduate coupled with strong background in environmental science or related subjects. Candidates with Post Graduate in Environmental Science with sound administrative skills are welcome.
