I wasn’t sure how I felt when I learned that my husband’s stepmother would be moving from South Dakota down into our house here in San Diego. After about the first week I became comfortable with her presence and everything was okay. We had kind of a humorous incident happen at the local Albertson’s the other day. We were going through the self checkout and I was using the self checkout stand screen. This is a self help stand that uses the touch screen software. My mother-in-law seemed utterly amazed that such a thing existed. I later told my husband about the experience and he laughed.
