I was just surprised at how open it is there, not at all like here at home. You would not be on the streets in that type of dress here, not that type of tolerance by any stretch of the imagination. I really can’t say enough about taupo new zealand, it really is a magical spot. We have just arrived home after spending two weeks in nz and we are already wanting to get back there. But my intention here now is as - as always - to fly the flag for Brighton and Hove and certify how advanced reckoning and politically alive our town is, and having  a ratio of men to women in parliament  more typical of the population, is in my notion, a pace in the true direction!
