You can see the difference when you speak with your grandparents, parents and then your friends. It might just be the Chicago area, but I have the belief that the world is changing even, if it is only slightly, in the right direction. Determined media is when the media follows the trends of the population. The media depiction is a result of cultural norms in society. Parts of the video “Republic of Tea,” are a great example of determined media. One segment of the documentary was about a marketing company that was recently started. It was a group of cool kids that would go out and find the next cool kids.
