I was happy to see that the hospital has finally contracted with a vendor to supply us with great cleaning products. I am a housekeeper on the pediatrics unit, and I was having problems getting the floors and bathrooms clean with the products that they were using. I suggested to my supervisor that they find a different cleaning company vendor. We needed products that would truly remove the germs and grime from the floors. As the public comes in to visit in the pediatric unit, they are bringing with them many germs that need to be killed and removed. Only good cleaning supplies with a proven track record could guarantee the cleanliness of the unit.
