Extend your arms up and keep it close to your ears. Clasp your hands together. Put your knees up and bent. Contract your abdominal area while you pull your shoulders up. Keep your arms in that steady position. Lower down. Do this for 10 counts. Exhale while you go up, inhale while going down.
Another one of the abdominal exercises for women that really work is the Half Curl. Still on the floor and bended knees, place hands on thighs. With you head straight up and without locking the chin, reach for your knees. Exhale while doing that while feeling the crunch. Inhale and lower down. Same repetitions apply.
