Because I wanted to save myself a little bit of money when having my bathroom redone, I decided that I was going to purchase a bathtub refinishing kit and try to refinish my tub.  I opted to do this because I did not want to have to buy a new tub for my bathroom.  At first I was a little bit intimidated by the job, however, after I read a few tutorials on the subject and got a bit of help from my brother who had done it before I was able to complete the job without any issues at all.
