February 22, 2010 8:58 am HomeI am not the world’s best cook by far, my husband will attest to that. But at least he is still around after eating 10 years of my cooking. One thing I have never cooked for him is crab. I have nothing in my reprtoire for a crab recipe. I could go online and look something up, but I find it much easier to cook with less expensive meats that don’t stink like fish. Plus, I am just not fancy enough to create a meal around such a meat. I’m not sure even if crab is a main course meat or an appetizer meat. I never had it growing up. I survived on cow and pig and even of cow and pig I ate only select parts cooked a certain way. I was a picky eater. I didn’t like steaks of any kind. I didn’t like roasts. So I was stuck with the worst (aka fattiest) parts of the animals. I probably would have been better off had I been made to eat more seafood.
