I am not the world’s best cook by far, my husband will attest to that. But at least he is still around after eating 10 years of my cooking. One thing I have never cooked for him is crab. I have nothing in my reprtoire for a crab recipe. I could go online and look something up, but I find it much easier to cook with less expensive meats that don’t stink like fish. Plus, I am just not fancy enough to create a meal around such a meat. I’m not sure even if crab is a main course meat or an appetizer meat. I never had it growing up. I survived on cow and pig and even of cow and pig I ate only select parts cooked a certain way. I was a picky eater. I didn’t like steaks of any kind. I didn’t like roasts. So I was stuck with the worst (aka fattiest) parts of the animals. I probably would have been better off had I been made to eat more seafood.
