You can get in on the green energy options without paying the price to have it done.  You can build your own solar panels and/or wind power generators.  This will save you money coming and going.  You will save by doing it yourself, and you will save on your home’s electric bill.  My guess is that you will see a vast drop in your electric bill your first month.  When my husband built our solar panels and wind generator, we noticed our bill dropped by about 30% the first month after the project was complete.  Now we enjoy lower electric bills and use the money we save to have some fun.
