One reason why even the top universities have started offering accelerated degree program in nursing is because they feel the need of nursing students to get done with their studying as soon as possible. An accelerated nursing degree program would definitely get over faster than the conventional course, which is what nurses would have wanted when they started doing this course. That being said, do these courses actually do a disservice to the course contents? Not at all, because these courses have packaged the contents in they well enough for the nurses to complete them to a nicety. Bottom-line is these accelerated courses are good.
