Mormon missionaries are sent out into the world to proclaim the Mormon Doctrine that Jesus is the Christ; that he died for us and was resurrected for us; that through him we might be saved and return to our Heavenly Father. Mormon missionaries seek to find and baptize people who have been searching for these truths in their lives, but they do much more than that. Missionaries give selfless service to all they come into contact with and bless the lives of those around them. Mormon Doctrine commands all followers of Christ to preach the gospel to all those around them and to have charity for each other.
