Next week I am heading off to catch up with friends down in the beautiful town of Wanaka. Sadly I have only 4 days there, so I am flying into Queenstown and picking up a car from car hire queenstown then driving over to Wanaka. I had kind of hoped that I could have taken about 2 weeks off work and driven down there and back as I have always wanted to see more of the country. It will still be a great 4 days though. I think my friend has planned for a day on the mountain, then another day on the golf course, followed by a day of winery tours, so it will certainly be a relaxing and enjoyable trip.
