I really can’t say enough about taupo new zealand, it really is a magical spot. We have just arrived home after spending two weeks in nz and we are already wanting to get back there. We spent one of those weeks at the great lake in the centre of the north island and had an absolute blast. One of the days we were out on a charter boat for the entire day, it was great, we did some trout fishing, a bit of water skiing, had a beautiful picnic in a secluded bay and just some general cruising around the lake to check out the sights. The accommodation in taupo was also great, really cheap and clean, offering great value for the budget traveller.
